McLaren Racing has signed Unilever’s Lifebuoy as Official Hygiene Supplier for the remainder of the 2020 Formula 1 season as part of McLaren’s partnership with the global consumer goods company.
Hand hygiene is a crucial element of personal health, especially during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Lifebuoy, the world’s number one selling hygiene soap brand[1] will supply the team with hand hygiene products, both on the track, in the Formula 1 paddock, and at the McLaren Technology Centre in the UK. The use of Lifebuoy products will help the team to continue to protect themselves and others.
McLaren aims to contribute to Lifebuoy’s commitment to improve the hand hygiene habits of communities around the world by leveraging their global platform in sport. So far, Lifebuoy’s initiative has already reached more than 1 billion people around the world.
As part of the partnership, Lifebuoy will feature on the visor strip of both drivers’ helmets, beginning at the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa.
