Borussia Dortmund (BVB) has named Dortmunder Energie- und Wasserversorgung GmbH (DEW21) as its premium partner.
All BVB fans and Dortmunders can look forward to joint activities that will bring the partnership to life. The sponsorship term is five years.
Heike Heim, chairwoman of the DEW21 management board, explains: “With the premium partnership with BVB we are further strengthening our local commitment to Dortmund and the societal, social and cultural interests of the city. There is no question that we have just the right amount of energy for this. We not only ensure this with the new black and yellow energy products, but also with the numerous real BVB fans in our workforce, who are very happy to be part of the black and yellow family in a professional context. ”
BVB managing director Carsten Cramer adds: “As a club that is connected to our homeland, we value regional partners from Dortmund all the more. And as befits Westphalia, the employees of both companies are real go-getters who want the best for Dortmund and thus stand up for the unmistakable mentality and identity of our city – even far beyond their actual tasks, football and energy supply.
“Because both BVB and DEW 21 are committed to their homeland, also promote Dortmund’s culture and thus decisively shape the cityscape. Working together even more intensely than before makes perfect sense for both sides. ”
The DEW21 campaign has the motto “FULL LADUNG DORTMUND”. The claim and the associated key visual symbolize the many facets that Dortmund offers and from which people draw their energy. In addition to players from BVB, the stadium and other Dortmund landmarks such as the “U” and the Florian Tower, there are other elements that are symbolic of the city.
