West Bromwich Albion strikes livestreaming partnership with StreamAMG

West Bromwich Albion have partnered with live video and OTT specialists StreamAMG ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.

From the start of the 2020/21 season, the Black Country club will use StreamAMG’s technology to power WBA TV, which offers on demand content and audio commentary to supporters.

Having secured promotion to the Premier League on the final day of the EFL season in July, the Baggies chose StreamAMG to run the technology behind their online video offering ahead of the club’s return to the top flight.
West Brom will use:

• MediaPlatform, StreamAMG’s core online video platform, to orchestrate live streams and manage on demand content

• The award-winning CloudMatrix content distribution system to automate on demand video population

• The CloudPay platform to offer future ability to handle payments via Stripe and PayPal, and manage users and subscribers
