AC Milan renews partnership with Emirates

AC Milan and Emirates have announced the renewal of their long-standing partnership.

 

Emirates will continue to be the Rossoneri’s Official Airline Partner and Principal Partner , continuing a fruitful working relationship that has lasted for over 15 years.

 

Emirates’ iconic ‘Fly Better’ logo will continue to be featured on the shirts of the men’s first team at all seasonal fixtures. The Emirates brand will also appear on the shirts of the youth teams involved in the AC Milan Academy project, in Italy and abroad, with the aim of sharing the positive values ​​of football through the initiatives of the Club’s Academy.

 

In addition to the prestigious shirt sponsorship, the agreement will continue to include the preeminent presence of the Emirates brand within the San Siro stadium, in the hospitality sector and in ticketing, as well as additional marketing rights.

 

The partnership between AC Milan and Emirates was born in September 2007. The following year, Emirates elevated its status to Top Institutional Sponsor. The renowned branding first appeared on the Club’s shirts in the 2010/11 season, connecting Emirates with the millions of Rossoneri fans around the world. Since then, the Emirates brand has appeared on the Club’s shirts in 590 official matches, in which the Rossoneri have scored 967 goals .

 

For the occasion, AC Milan visited the Emirates Group headquarters in Dubai . The Rossoneri are in the capital of the United Arab Emirates for a training camp and to play in the Dubai Super Cup. During the appointment, the First Team coach Stefano Pioli, some players from the First Team, the Senior Management of AC AC Milan and representatives of the Club’s ownership met His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President and CEO of Emirates Airline & Group , in a special moment which formalized the renewal of the partnership and reaffirmed the shared vision of the two brands.

The collaboration between AC Milan and Emirates confirms the Club’s commitment to strengthening its physical presence in the Middle East, a strategically key region for the Rossoneri. Football is the most popular and practiced sport in an area where AC Milan has over 2.5 million supporters. As confirmation of its commitment, AC Milan is planning to open a new office in Dubai . It will allow the Club to enhance its communication and commercial strategy in the Middle East. More details will be shared soon.

 

The partnership is also a demonstration of Emirates’ commitment to Italy, served for over 30 years. Emirates currently operates 36 weekly flights to four destinations: Milan, Rome, Venice and Bologna.
