Stoke City names EDS Couriers as official logistic partner

Stoke City have strengthened their existing ties with Staffordshire-based courier company EDS Couriers as they become the Club’s new Official Logistic Partner.

EDS Couriers specialise in the delivery of parcels and pallets with depots in both Cannock and Stoke-on-Trent. Working alongside their Partners, APC Overnight, EDS deliver parcels same day or next day using their fleet of local delivery vehicles.

That, along with a dedicated team of local people passionate about quality of service they provide, has been key to making them one of the region’s leading independent delivery companies.

The two-year partnership will see EDS continue as the courier of choice for Stoke City’s retail team as well as seeing their branding across a host of commercial inventory, including LED Boards, social media posts and 3D goal mats.

Matt Evans, Managing Director of EDS Couriers, said: “Stoke City Football Club is the heart beat of the city, with a huge passionate fan base. For EDS to be a part of that for the next two seasons is a real privilege and something we are very proud of.”

Paul Lakin, City’s Chief Commercial Officer, added: “We are delighted to have extended our association with EDS Couriers. It’s always great to work alongside a successful local business that recognises the vast platform gained via working in Partnership with Stoke City.”
