Notts County FC signs Age UK Notts as its official charity partner

Notts County FC has signed Age UK Notts as its official charity partner for the 2020-21 season.

The club and Age UK formed a wonderful partnership earlier this year following the launch of our hugely successful Crowdfunder campaign which raised £2,500 for a charity that provides services to older people from all communities and backgrounds.

In an additional show of support we also featured Age UK’s logo on a club-branded face mask, the profits from which were passed on to the charity.

In addition, Age UK will receive complimentary tickets, social media promotions and matchday activations throughout the season.

Di Trinder, Age UK Notts’ interim CEO, said: ‘’We are thrilled to have been chosen as Notts County’s charity partner and would like to thank the club for the tremendous support they have given us in recent months.

“The difference their support has made to the lives of older people across the city and county is amazing and we look forward to continuing our relationship.’’

Notts CEO Jason Turner added: “The ongoing pandemic and subsequent lockdown has placed immense pressure on older people and the services which keep them safe, happy and comfortable, so it’s been an absolute pleasure to help Age UK during this time.

“Formalising our partnership will only help us do more to support them and the vital work they do.”
