FC Barcelona and Grupo Bimbo have signed an agreement which makes the Mexican food company and the world’s largest baking company, a Global Partner of the club and the Main Partner of the FC women’s football team, who will wear the global brand BIMBO® on their shirt sleeves.
The deal also includes La Masia, the FC Barcelona training centre that has become an international benchmark for education in sports and human values.
The team will be wearing the global brand BIMBO logo for the first time in their opening Champions League fixture this Wednesday, 19 October, against Benfica at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
Grupo Bimbo produces over 10,000 products and has one of the largest direct distribution networks in the world, with more than 3.1 million points of sale, more than 54,000 routes and over 135.000 associates. Its shares trade on the Mexican Stock Exchange (under the ticker symbol BIMBO, and in the over the counter market in the United States with a Level 1 ADR, under the ticker symbol BMBOY.
