One Championship signs global content partnership with Facebook

One Championship, the Singapore-based sports entertainment firm has formed a global partnership with Facebook to distribute “exclusive content” on the video-on-demand service Facebook Watch.

One Championship’s athletes will stream gameplay and gaming commentary through the Facebook Gaming channel. Content from One Virtual Reality will also be added to the Venues app, which was rolled out by the global social media giant to provide an interactive second-screen experience to live events.

With the partnership, the duo will deliver custom content to martial arts fans globally through Facebook Watch and Instagram’s IGTV. They will also jointly launch the One Championship and One Esports Facebook Gaming channel, where fans can watch their favorite athletes stream their gaming activities.

The two companies will also launch “Only on Oculus” VR content in the Venues app for Oculus Quest so that martial arts fans can “experience the best seat in the house, virtually.”
